Meet the Team
Patrick
The New President of The Cat Ranch. He looks forward to continuing the Legacy of Rescue Cats Rock. His vision is to build a team that can support other shelters, pet owners, and the veterinarian medical community to change the future for shelters across America.
Patrick is currently the CEO of Spectrum Financial Group, a large financial services firm that helps people improve their financial lives. The experience and connections he has with Spectrum Financial Group will provide the framework that he will use to help TCR Grow.
Patrick and his wife JoAnn are cat lovers and look forward to the challenge of making The Cat Ranch sustainable for future generations!
JoAnn
Currently the Vice President of The Cat Ranch and is in charge of the Overall operations of the Ranch and all related facilities. She brings a wealth of knowledge from her past 20 years running multiple businesses as a Sr. Executive and Business Owner. Joann also brings a passion for animals as a pet owner and advocate. She has had cats in her life since she was a child and has vast experience dealing with their care and support. She has cared for numerous cats with medical issues such as: Asthma, CKD, Thyroid and other situations. Her combination of business experience and caring for cats helps her handle the overall needs of the organization.
JoAnn is a Midwest native and currently lives in Ft Myers with her husband Patrick and their cat named “Ziggy”. In her space time she likes to golf and spend time in the Florida Keys fishing and relaxing.
Marcie
An animal lover since she can remember. Originally from Connecticut, Marcie moved to Florida in 2001. She is the President of Haven on Earth animal league since 2008. Working hard to make the world a better place for cats. Her big goal is for pets and strays everywhere to have free/low cost TNR and sterilization. We are so lucky to have her as a part of the team here at The Cat Ranch.
Mark
Began volunteering at the rescue in June of 2020. In order to offer more of his time volunteering Mark moved into the rescue from August 2022- January 2023. He spends his time there because he cares about the cats and former owner Tammy. Mark adopted 2 cats from the rescue, both brothers named Dusty and Mango. He has 3 cats in total. Lucky was his first cat he ever had.
Somer
After her first visit to the ranch, she knew she wanted to be apart of it’s journey. Somer has always had a passion for helping animals. She got her Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree in Film, with a focus on animal documentaries. She has many rescue animals of her own, including a cat named bug, three ferrets, bunny, tortoise, bird… Somer is our photographer, videographer and Social Media Manager. She loves being a part of the rescue team.
Eric
A journeymen electrician, originally from Ohio. He moved to Florida with his wife Brittany and cat fur baby Savannah. He has been in the electrician trade for over 20 years. Eric enjoys fly fishing, and spending his time on the beach. In his spare time, you can find him volunteering at The Cat Ranch.
Brittany
Born in Ohio, she moved to florida with her husband Eric to follow their dreams. They fell in love with Sanibel Island, Disney World, and all Florida has to offer. Brittany is a registered behavior technician. She works with children on the spectrum to improve their quality of life, and shape their behaviors. She loves cats and has a fur baby of her own named Savannah. In her spare time you can find her volunteering at The Cat Ranch, shelling on the beach and fishing. She’s a Disney adult and able to live out her dream, visiting once a month!
